Repeating tasks
Open a task and use the Repeat section to pick a fixed schedule or “after completion”, choose days of the month, and preview the next dates. Skip an occurrence from the task’s menu.

Reminders & places
Notifications need permission in iOS or macOS Settings. Location reminders are an iPhone and iPad feature and need “Always” location access to notice arrivals in the background.
Common questions
Why aren’t my tasks appearing on another device?
Make sure both devices are signed into the same account under Sources → Cloud sync and are online. Guest accounts sync too, but only the device that created them can see them until you sign in. Tap Sync now to force a refresh.
How do I bring in Apple Reminders or Google Tasks?
On the Sources screen, turn on Apple Reminders (To Done asks for Reminders access) or Google Tasks and sign in. You can connect several Google accounts, and each one can be paused or removed separately. Edits and completions write back to the original app.
How do I restore a deleted task?
Tap Undo in the banner right after deleting. After that, deleted tasks wait in the Trash on the device where they were deleted for 30 days, and you can restore them from there.
How do I share a list?
Open a list and choose Share. Send the invite link or code, or add a member by email. Everyone needs a To Done account with an email address; guest accounts can’t share or join.
Can I add tasks with Siri or from other apps?
Yes. Ask Siri to add a task to To Done, use the Add Task and Due Today actions in Shortcuts, share text, links, or emails to To Done from the share sheet, or on the Mac select text in any app and choose Services → New Task in To Done (or press ⌃⌥N).
How can I export my data?
On the Sources screen, scroll to Backup and choose Export as JSON or Export as CSV. The export includes every task, list, place, and Logbook entry.
How do I delete my account?
On the Sources screen, under Cloud sync, choose Delete account. That removes your tasks, lists, attachments, and account data from our servers immediately.
